In a land far away, where those who look for answers, wonders, and fun, can find a place where discoveries have begun. The king has a task for those who are up for the challenge. From a Wizard who is lost in time travel, to preparations for battle, and even navigation across the stars and sky, the king needs your help to complete the task! Everyone is invited to the Kingdom of Clay to create and discover what the kingdom has to offer. We encourage visitors and travelers to dress up in their best appropriate Renaissance fair costume to make the experience even better.
What to Expect:
🪨Geode and Crystal Identification
11:00 AM – 4:00 PM | Ticketing Lobby
Take a guess to see if you can identify which geode/crystal is which. Match the formation to the correct identifier and learn how they are formed.
⚔️Prepare for Battle!
11:00 AM – 4:00 PM | Makerspace
Make a catapult to use when battle arises for defend the kingdom and make your own shield! Create what you want your shield to look like.
👹Origami Ogres

Come on in and learn how to make fortune tellers and boats with your favorite designed parchment.
🧙♂️Time Traveling Wizard
11:00 AM – 4:00PM | MyTown
Help create a map for the lost wizard to find his portals! There are riddles to solve to lead you to where his portal is located.
🥣What’s in the Cauldron?
Various Times | Main Level
Test your bravery and figure out what is in the cauldron. Reach in and take a guess just by what you touch. (Sensory Cart)
🪄Potion Magic
11:00 AM - 12:00 PM & 3:00PM - 4:00PM | Classroom C
Come to the Classroom to learn of the magic that science can prove. Learn about titration and maybe a few other things along the way.
